Prowler in GNA?
July 2025: It has been brought to our attention that we have had some incidents in the neighborhood regarding a man wandering around and loitering on people’s property.
The CB Police Dept. is aware of the person, and they are doing extra patrols around our neighborhood. We encourage you to be proactive, keep things securely stored away, ensure structures are locked, and if you see something, say something!
If warranted, call the NON EMERGENCY Number at (712) 328-4701 and an officer will respond, and also tell your neighbors!
If you are going to be out of town, have a neighbor check on your home, get your mail, and show signs of activity on the premises. If you see something on a doorbell camera that seems suspicious, please notify CBPD and share the image or video.
We don’t want to scare anyone, as we do live in a safe area of CB; we just want to keep our neighbors aware and informed of everything. Thanks!

Our Little Free Library is in Need of Books!
July 2025: The Gibraltar Little Free Library on Story Street is in need of books!! If you have any to donate, please reach out to our neighborhood “librarian,” Kimber Post, at kimbercolleen@gmail.com. She would be happy to come and pick them up from you. THANK YOU for sharing with others the joy of reading!
The Gibraltar Neighborhood Association publishes a bi-monthly newsletter called “Rock Talk.”
Below are links to issues of the newsletter. Just click on any of the dates to access the newsletter PDF. We hope you’ll find the content interesting and informative. Each issue highlights recent neighborhood happenings, upcoming events and meetings, group activities, and much more.
If you’re a neighborhood resident, hopefully you’ve seen this delivered to your mailbox! If you haven’t, please contact ANY BOARD MEMBER (see their contact info on the “Vision” tab on this website) to make sure we have you on the distribution list! Most importantly, we hope the newsletter will spur you to become involved in our neighborhood!
